The 2022 edition of the Clean Cooking Forum is being held from 11 to 13 October 2022 in Accra, Ghana. The event, which brings together industry professionals in person and by video conference, is co-organised by the Ghanaian government and the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA).

The 2022 edition of the Clean Cooking Forum is being held at the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Ghana’s capital Accra. The event, which takes place from 11 to 13 October 2022, will bring together more than 500 participants in person and hundreds more virtually. The Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA), which is co-organising the forum with the Ghanaian government, is thus returning to the classroom after a long period of uncertainty linked to Covid-19.

The pandemic caused the postponement of the biennial event to 2021. The Clean Cooking Forum 2022 will bring together investors, executives, government representatives, academics and advocates from around the world who are working to accelerate access to clean cuisine. “The Clean Kitchen Forum will provide an ideal platform to showcase Ghana’s global leadership on this critical issue, and we are delighted to welcome participants to Accra for this international event,” says Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, the Chief of Staff to Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to the CCA, the event will be organised with high-level plenary sessions and over 20 breakout sessions. During the sessions, participants will address several key issues, including financing and investment, technological and business innovation, climate and results-based financing, developing national policies that support market growth, youth and women empowerment, etc.

“Taking place less than a month before COP27 in Egypt, and with the 2030 deadline for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) fast approaching, the forum is set to be a crucial catalyst for progress towards global goals on energy, health, gender and climate,” says the CCA. The organisation has just opened registration for the Clean Cuisine Forum 2022.
