Italy is inviting a host of energy companies from Africa and the Mediterranean to its traditional K. EY exhibition organised 22 March 2023 by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) under the prism of the energy transition.
For its 16th edition, the K. EY exhibition organised by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) is focusing on the energy transition. The event, which takes place from 22 to 24 March 2023 in the coastal city of Rimini in Italy, will bring together experts and investors in the field of renewable energy to discuss the role of energy efficiency in the development of Africa and the Mediterranean.
Some 200 start-ups from southern Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, China and Morocco are also expected to attend. During three days, they will present the latest technological advances for the development of smart cities and electric mobility. These solutions will be appreciated by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
According to the agency based in Paris, France, the K. EY will help find sustainable solutions to the global energy crisis exacerbated by the war in Ukraine. The Rimini event will host 12 exhibitions, including one on “E-mobility” dedicated to electric mobility and interconnected recharging infrastructures, and another called “Sustainable City” dedicated to the transformation of metropolises according to the smart city model.
“Other business and networking exhibitions will have an even more international scope on photovoltaics and storage, technologies for the construction and operation of onshore and offshore wind power plants, and hydrogen storage. Companies will also receive technical advice on how to optimise their energy consumption and reduce their carbon footprint,” say the organisers.
