“Putting in place a system that provides both adequate food and sustainable jobs for the continent. These words from Dickson Naftali, the head of Generation Africa, set the tone for the launch of the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize 2022.

The competition is supported by Econet, a telecommunications conglomerate, and Yara International, a chemical company based in Oslo, Norway. The event is also supported by the Confederation of Agricultural Unions of Southern Africa (SACAU), the German pharmaceutical company Bayer and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
