Solar and green energy professionals more generally will meet in Morocco in June 2019 as part of the fifth edition of SIPSEV. For the organisers, this event will be an opportunity to provide information to farmers, professionals, institutions and companies in order to promote the development of green energy. The intended objectives of the fair are as follows:
– Promotion of the adoption of solar pumping systems;
– Capacity building of the sector’s actors;
– Raising awareness among operators and farmers;
– Promotion of financing mechanisms and contribution to the standardisation of solar installations.
The challenge: to equip participants with techniques that will enable them to “adopt a more rational use of energy and present innovative solutions for the supply of green energy. ”Farmers, who will participate, will be able to produce more with as little energy as possible.
For five days, the show will be animated by a series of activities including:
– 30 conferences ;
– 10 workshops ;
– 20 field visits ;
– 10 agreements to be signed;
– 5 training courses, and a forum on green jobs.
The event is organised by the Moroccan Ministry of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development, with the support of the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency (Aimee) and in partnership with other organisations (the municipality of Agadir, professional associations of renewable energies…)
SIPSEV is the first solar pumping exhibition in Morocco and a demonstration of Morocco’s commitment to green energy. The 2018 edition brought together 45 exhibitors and more than 2500 visitors.
