AFRICA: FinDev Canada invests $13 million in EEGF for clean energy access

The Netherlands Development Finance Corporation, Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden (FMO), is a development bank based in The Hague. It has bank status and has been supervised by the Bank of the Netherlands since 2008. It was established in 1970 by the Dutch state, Dutch banks and private investors. It is 51% controlled by the Dutch government and 42% by a consortium of banks.
